Daisy Hardcastle York, established in 1999, is one of the pioneering independent shops in York. Originating as "Serendipity" on Bishopthorpe Road, affectionately known as "Bishy Rd," our shop was among the first of its kind and has remained a staple in the community. Bishy Road has even been named GB High Street of the Year.

For over a decade,  proudly partnered with Not On The High Street, being recognised as one of the UK's best small creative businesses. Our passion at Daisy Hardcastle lies in curating a handpicked collection of products that are both practical and beautiful, taking inspiration from unique and eclectic items. Throughout the year, we continually introduce new products designed and produced with care and quality. Our range includes original accessories, lighting, throws, candles from St Ives, socks from Ireland, and furniture suited to both traditional and contemporary homes.

We have established strong relationships with our suppliers, many of whom we have worked with for years. This allows us to offer a diverse and ever-expanding collection of unique and made-to-order products that can transform any space. Our offerings also include gifts for children, scarves, picnic rugs, and handmade china mugs. At Daisy Hardcastle, we provide a selection of inspirational home accessories to update your home and garden, from lighting and rugs to attractive storage and decorative items, all carefully curated by us.

All our products are available for purchase on the Daisy Hardcastle online shop, with free delivery offered within a 10-mile radius of York. As a member of Small Business Saturday UK, we are part of a grassroots campaign that highlights small business success and encourages consumers to shop local and support their communities.

In our commitment to sustainability, all items and parcels are sent in recycled packaging whenever possible. So, don't be surprised if your made-to-order notice board arrives in a recycled bike box.
